The five elements alone cannot be converted to life. Life is the combination of these elements with each other. These combinations are called Saptadhatu. Dhatu is originally a Sanskrit word which means ‘that which enters into the formation of the body’; the root Dhaa means ‘support’ or ‘that which bears’.
